Agree 100% Sharine about engaging with life. Throughout the insanity of the last few years I have not stopped playing music, or hiking in beautiful places, or like you, hitting the open road. These things are fuel for the soul--without this the soul dies and we have nothing left to fight the anti-life forces.

(Such a shame about California and the PNW in general--a land I love, in the grips of the likes of Portland and San Francisco. I have found refuge at least in northern California, where the no-nonsense rural ranching folk here are not as compliant... and strangely also, not as sick.😆)

Folks like us slashed the head off "Covid" and went right on doing what we are meant to do: Live life fully!

And it's interesting that all the people who moved to my little area from large cities (San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego/Orange County, Fresno/Bakersfield) are sick all the time — even after they got jabbed and boosted and did all the stupid masking, isolating, and bathing in Purell! And yet they don't question why it's happening (or why I haven't had anything like a flu in nearly 7 years, and when I did fall ill, it's because I was overworked and super-stressed with not enough sleep).

Anyway, you are inspirational, my friend!

Thank you, Sharine, and likewise!

I only wish I could get through my reading list faster. You can see how far behind I am...

What's the necklace you're wearing?

It's a Thor's Hammer, called a Mjöllnir in ancient Norse culture. It refers to Thor's ability to efficiently and effectively thwart evil forces, and also to bless sacred events like births, weddings, anniversaries, and deaths.

My Mjöllnir was handmade by a craftsman in Finland. I found the beaded chain on Etsy and made my own necklace.
