When I say I care about someone, it means that I am here for them, even when — *especially when* — things are hard. One cannot say they truly care if they run away or turn someone away at every challenging encounter: That would signify lack of courage.
Wow. Some fabulous music! I love all that prog rock stuff, of course "L'hotel Serein" is yummy, and Gaby Moreno's voice is so sweet. At that point, they either *work through* it, which is the trust-building way, or one of them bails and leaves the relationship in the dust.

After nearly 30 years of being with Ron, we *still* experience many crossed wires and false impressions that need to be talked through . . or the trust bond weakens. For my friend T, it was her poor self-esteem, and for her now-husband P, it was the opposite, his arrogance. For my friend M, it was her dwelling on the future (anxiety) plus a perfection complex. For my friend K, it was her reliance on systems/institutions/traditions. They all did their inner work, then the partner showed up. The work doesn't end either as individuals or couples, it just gets easier to courageously dive in when trauma residues emerge.
So, the reason I keep showing up for you is because I love you and I want you to have the incomparable joy you deeply long for: Being in a devoted, lifelong partnership with a woman who is as "awesome" as you are — and I mean that to include *all the meanings* of the word since you are a vast being 😉.

They are winemakers. He is a *famous* guitar/bass pedal maker and she is an artist/teacher. Gonna be a fun afternoon touring both the electronics factory and the winery!
