Best of luck having it all come together! Someday I will have a home, rather than a spot on the floor of a friend's studio apartment! May I have the issues You're having! LOL!
VERY COOL all the way around love your blues gig look , my former partner and I were in 3 Blues associations for several years and did the competitions for Memphis International blues comp. made wash state finals twice , never made it to Memphis though
Thanks for pioneering my exact plan! I also want to take out the wall between my kitchen and dining room and put in a bay window--requiring exterior renovation. I've gotten as far as clearing out spaces. So I'll be eager to hear how your's goes.
I think that by playing your music I woke the neighbors up. That whip thing reminds me of a theramin where you wave your hands and it plays. [edit: yup. It said it at the end]
That wall described as "partial load bearing" sounds like famous last words. Also, as The Last Great American Hitch-Hiker, I had to slow down and re-read the phrase "hitching and un-hitching," which kind of blew my "mind." Also noted is the dread "builder grade"--ugh, but at least if it's twenty years old they didn't figure out how to scam everything as they have nowadays with new houses. I speak as a drifter with a van, but I've seen things...Also good to hear how beautiful your part of the world is, and sometime within a year I hope to swing by for the night and inspect. If I'm in Utah or something when you're doing your road trip I could meet you on your way to Michigan. But I'm still not at the scheduling phase.
Whoa you are one busy lady!! Best wishes on your reno! And have fun with your music gig and new learning skills. With the disruption of the renovation process being able to focus on your music might take some of the stress off. Can’t wait to see your travel pictures, especially the Upper Peninsula, I periodically check out acreages for sale because I think it’s so unique even though I’ve never been there. Just dreaming but I try to imagine being in the forest with my dog playing my guitar or banjo, (neither of which I’ve played for years lol) 🎶. Sorry for getting sidetracked 🤪. Take care, look forward to your updates, safe travels, enjoy!!
